The Role of School Governors in Elevating School Standards

Setting up a board of school governors is a cost effective way of improving school quality, supporting your school heads, and generally instigating accountability in school leaders. A voluntary position, school governors function in different capacity to improve school quality and to safeguard learners. In this training, Dr Timi Hyacinth will be showing participants how to set up a school board of governors, including the criteria and steps used for selecting them and their role in elevating school standards. This two day training is online and includes a kit that participants can use to initiate the process of setting up a board of governors who can attend the training. This training promises to be enlightening and aims to solve the problem of lack of accountability and support for school leaders. The training will take place online in January 30 and 31 in 2025. The Training kit includes templates and guides for setting up and running a board of school governors including their roles, responsibilities, selection criteria, letters, several organisational materials, etc. After paying for the training, you will receive a meeting link.
